A Newsroom Built for What Comes Next
Vantage Press Group is a new independent digital news organisation backed by a consortium of European media investors. We launch to the public in Q3 2026.
Our Story
British digital journalism is at an inflection point. Legacy publishers are cutting newsrooms while chasing volume. Social platforms are deprioritising news. And readers are losing trust in institutions that once defined the national conversation.
Vantage Press was founded to address that gap. We believe there is a sustainable business in producing high-quality, genuinely independent journalism for a digital-native audience — without relying on clickbait, paywalls, or political patronage.
Our editorial model is simple: hire brilliant journalists, give them the tools and time to do their best work, and trust that readers will come. Our revenue model combines premium advertising, branded content (clearly labelled), and events.
What Makes Us Different
We are not a legacy publisher trying to adapt. We are building from scratch — our CMS, our distribution strategy, our editorial processes — with the advantages of starting fresh and the experience of a leadership team that has done this before at the highest level.
Every journalist at Vantage Press receives equity in the company. We believe the people who make the journalism should share in its success.
